Why this studio exists
The studio exists because most digital work is disconnected from operations and real deal flow.
Michael Berardi founded Liberty after seeing where systems fail in transaction environments. Conversion paths collapse, data stays siloed, and decisions are made without signal. No existing model was structured to address this at the system level. Liberty was built to fix that.

Michael Berardi founded Liberty Design Studio in 2018. Before working in digital systems, he applied Lean Six Sigma process discipline on factory floors, focused on process efficiency and operational reliability. That discipline now defines how Liberty designs digital workflows, conversion paths, and internal systems.
Michael later worked at Compass, overseeing technology-enabled luxury real estate operations across Texas and California, where systems performance directly affected high-value transactions. He has also managed large-scale commercial real estate portfolios in New York. That experience grounded the work in live transaction environments, where systems must perform under real constraints.

Nico Kaplan maintains system integrity across all client projects. He enforces consistency and protects execution quality throughout the engagement lifecycle. This separation allows the founder to focus on strategy and architecture while operational reliability remains constant.
