Why this studio exists
The studio exists because most digital work is disconnected from operations and real deal flow.
Michael Berardi founded Liberty after seeing where systems fail in transaction environments. Conversion paths collapse, data stays siloed, and decisions are made without signal. No existing model was structured to address this at the system level. Liberty was built to fix that.

Michael Berardi founded Liberty Design Studio in 2018 after a career built on operational discipline. He started on factory floors applying Lean Six Sigma methodology — eliminating waste, enforcing process reliability, and measuring what matters. That rigor now drives how Liberty architects digital workflows, conversion systems, and internal operations.
At Compass, he oversaw luxury real estate operations across Texas and California, where system failures meant lost deals. He then directed marketing operations for over a dozen New York commercial properties valued upwards of $100M. Every engagement at Liberty reflects that background: systems built for live transaction environments where performance is non-negotiable.

Sam Leibowitz guides business development and operational consulting for the studio. His experience spans complex regulatory environments and multi-million-dollar business growth phases, with direct accountability for operational performance and compliance.
His background includes front- and back-of-house operations management, workflow optimization, team leadership, and strategic business development across regulated industries. Sam bridges technical implementation with business reality, ensuring digital systems align with operational constraints and revenue goals.
